Where will courses take place?


All of our courses are held at our purposely designed kitchen class room at No 5, Sapper Street in Valletta, conveniently located nearby the open-air public car park.

Covid-19 update- Until further notice all our classes are being held at The Pod in St. Julians.




What facilities can I expect?


The space is fully-equipped with all the apparatus needed for each class. Each person will be provided with the necessary tools, knives and ingredients for the duration of the course. Unfortunately we are not equiped for access for all.




Who will be teaching my course?


Each session is led by one of our highly experienced / qualified chef instructors, for more information about each chef as well as a bio about their training please visit the “about us” section.




Is my course accredited?


Our courses are not currently accredited.




Will there be an assessment?


There will be no formal assessment.




Will you be releasing more classes?


Yes, we are continuously developing new courses and workshops based on different recipes, techniques and cultural aspects related to Mediterranean cuisine. Sign up to our mailing list to stay up to date with our latest classes.




Can I fail the course?


The only way to fail the course is by not attending at least 80% of the sessions.




Will I learn new recipes?


Yes, a number of recipes relevant to the chosen session will be discussed and cooked together. Each attendee will also be given all the recipe sheets related to the class.




Do I have to attend all of the sessions in a course?


It would be best to be present for all sessions, however we understand that certain circumstances won’t allow you to attend.




If I fall ill on one day, can I make up the lesson another time?


Each session builds on the previous session. For this reason it is not possible to make up any missed session at a later date.




How many people will be in my class?


The class has a maximum capacity of 12 students, each with their own cooking station and 1 or 2 chef instructors, depending on the session.




What kind of cuisine do you teach?

Do we get to eat the food we make in class, or take it home?


At the end of each session the food prepared can be eaten or taken home, just don’t forget to bring a container.




I am a vegetarian – can you accommodate me?


We have a number of vegetarian friendly workshops aimed at vegetarians, which are usually noted on the event. Kindly let us know in advance, via the message box, if you are vegetarian.




I am new to cooking. Do I need any special skills to attend this course?


All of our classess are currently aimed at hobby cooks and enthusiasts, any classes that require more advanced skills will be indicated.




In what language will the courses be taught?


All our classes are taught in English.




I have allergies what can I do?

Do I need to bring any ingredients or equipment?


All food and equipment is provided for you during the sessions.

Can I book more than one class at once?


Yes




What is the minimum age for participation?


The minimum age for participation is 17.




Do you offer transportation?


We do not offer any transportation to and from classes.




Can I bring my kids?


For safety reasons we cannot allow anyone ,other than the participants, to be in the kitchen.
