Ready to celebrate Oktoberfest in true Bavarian style? Join us for a hands-on cooking class where you'll learn how to create three classic Oktoberfest delights: traditional Weißwurst sausages, soft and chewy pretzels, and a tangy homemade curried ketchup that perfectly complements your feast. Instead of wine, we’ll be serving up pints of authentic Munich beer to enhance the experience and bring the true spirit of Oktoberfest to your table. This session is designed to immerse you in the flavours and techniques that define German cuisine. Under the guidance of our expert chef instructors, you'll master the art of sausage-making, knead and twist your own pretzels to perfection, and craft a unique curried ketchup that adds a modern twist to this timeless celebration. What will I learn? - The art of making traditional Weißwurst sausages from scratch, including seasoning and shaping techniques - How to prepare and bake classic Bavarian pretzels with the perfect balance of chewiness and crispness - Create a flavourful homemade curried ketchup, blending spices to achieve just the right kick - Basic kitchen techniques, including meat preparation, dough handling, and sauce creation - Apply kitchen professionalism: timing, cleanliness, and organisation Do I need to bring anything with me? We recommend bringing a reusable container to take home any leftovers. We’ll provide you with an apron and all the ingredients, equipment, and tools needed for the session. Will we get time to eat what food we’ve cooked? Absolutely! Enjoy your creations on-site with a few pints of Munich beer, or take them home to share with family and friends. Prost!
