In this exciting session, you will roll up your sleeves and learn how to make shortcrust pastry from scratch. With this versatile dough, you’ll whip up both a sweet and a savoury pie—delicious treats that they’ll be proud to take home! What will you be learning? This class is packed with skills to help build confidence in the kitchen, including: Mastering shortcrust pastry Essential cooking techniques Basic knife skills and cuts Kitchen professionalism: timing, cleanliness, and organisation Food safety The importance of using local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients Do they need to bring anything? Nothing but enthusiasm! We’ll provide everything you need, though we kindly ask you to bring with you a reusable container for any leftovers you’d like to take home. Do you get to eat what they make? Absolutely! After the session, you will get to sit down and savour your freshly baked sweet and savoury pies. Where is the class held? In our brand-new, fully-equipped kitchen in Naxxar.
