Smoked Sea Salt  - 75G


Harvested from the Darmanin Salt Pans in Marsaskala, Malta, this sea salt is produced using traditional methods passed down through generations. Managed by Mr. Nażżareno “Żaren” Darmanin and his family, the salt pans have been his livelihood since childhood. Today, Żaren and his son Mario continue to preserve this artisanal craft, ensuring the tradition lives on.

 

At the Mediterranean Culinary Academy, the harvested sea salt is carefully smoked to enhance its natural character. Smoked sea salt is a versatile ingredient that adds depth and complexity to a wide range of dishes, making it a favorite among chefs and home cooks.
